Bingle - Day 9 - Mleou 10

½ day to the fortress. I would prefer to go to the castle, however. An Orc party of 5 comes by, I make an animal sound to lure them into the woods – a wild boar – 2 stop. I make more noise. They head to use and we get them. I kill 2 Orcs and two more are charmed. Still plan to take Imperial Ward. Castle Xaceos is Elves and safe. Chieftain not at the fortress. (Tied to tree forty days and nights.) Orc city other way in to Fortress. Party chief Catosh, Zipturk, cave trolls being trained, Orc fist in throwable sphere, send Orc to look for noise. I go scout, sword out, Philamean disappears. Find twig and Orc print. Orc gone Northeast. I follow. I miss. Orc in tree fires bow. Hits Trax and myself. I lift Trax up. I fire 4 arrows gone. Orc falls 2 sparks I hit as he swings to other tree. Orc on other tree. I hit again and again I hit he falls. I look (Scimitar) boots, pouch (3 gems – 50gp each), 10gp (Orc boots quiet). Head back.

Go to fortress. Charmed Orcs have us fake tied as prisoners, night, into fortress through doors past cheery guards, see murder holes. Orc approaches behind Latolt, Nodolt (charmed) unused sleeping area. Past kitchen room tie rope to trap. Catost, Nudolt, Latoult return. Sid’s book ripped in half. I kill sleeping Latulk. Nadolt leaves to find Latulk. Voices at murder holes. I go up above entrance passage. I come down we wait Catosh, Nadulk return. We go to Chieftain’s office. 4 Orcs, 1 chief in room. Sleep spell, 3 down including chief remainder fire crossbows, we attack. I hit, get hit, then kill him. I disarm Chieftain. 10 flasks, 5 portions left. 1d8 each. I kill chieftain, run through door and lock it. Secret door, rope, I go back and kill 12 Orcs Philamina saved. Pull up rope and close door and meet group. They go back? I stay up ladder. Come down search fortress. Trax kills Orc – alarm – oil fire – retreat down stairs Troll keep / open door.

Troll keep search under kitchen. Room opens trolls leave room attack two Orcs from behind. I kill one Orc Trax kills another, move to hall and wait kill another 5 more. Attack 5 run away they attack we right. Kill 2 follow Phil where 5 other Orcs advance. We fight. More Orcs approach. Kill 2 with one swing! Orcs run away I stay to help. Potion to Sid / Phil. Nest saved 3 flasks left. Silver and Trax kill fleeing Orcs. We investigate area. Phil opens meat locker. Wine rack, we take 2 bottles each. 2 flasks left, burn meat locker leave room. 3 Flasks, search room East, West room.

Sid finds a dagger, searches South. Straw beds. Through secret doors behind armour. River 5ft wide at end of cavern (capped well). Check out well. Good water, cool air from “well” a ladder. I go down ladder ledge / down second rope / check out shelf. Tie rope. Sid almost falls. Jump out on platform tie rope and go down to ledge. West first 200ft rope / beams across fissure to an iron wall with a door. I try the door, rope triggers, go through.

Sid stalks to study. Orc statue. Trax hands keys – do not fit. Phil tries this door. Key in statues head (Trax) gives key. Sid rejoins I open door. Go in smelly tendrils, north door. Phil looks at movements open door see light. Dagger back away check other door. Sid “shords” vibrates back to door. Listen movement stops, we stop, 2 voices. I open door … two Orcs, I sleep I awake (Magic Orcs) die. I search desk. Phil and Silver open door – sphere not active, other active and levitates. Sid disables sphere, Sid is knocked down, Trax kills Sidonia trying to help.

Take book, take spell book, kill mushrooms with arrows, chieftain secret passage. Horses gone, stuff there we head to Xaceos. 3 day Orcs I kill one, Trax kills another. 6 day front gates, Temple of Kneal to resurrect Sidonia. I take 5611 GP and give it to resurrection… she lives.
